Thanks to a European fund, you can now participate in various international volunteer projects for free via IBO. The fund is intended to encourage young people to do international volunteer work. All your accommodation costs will be paid and you will also be reimbursed for your travel costs. To participate you have to be between 18 and 30 years old and an EU-citizen.
First you can go to Belgium: at the ecological care farm Heerlijkheid van Heule you will help build windmills, eco toilets, garbage islands and a solar boiler.
The second project is in Italy: you will work in Nomadelfia, a special community in Tuscany that is completely self-sufficient. You help with the daily work, for example on the land or with a painting job or a repair. In the meantime you experience life in this community.
The third and final project is also in Italy: in Spilamberto you help a small-scale development organization with their work.
