Are you interested in volunteering abroad with your colleagues, school class, association, church or club of friends? IBO-Nederland work with various project organisations that can make good use of voluntary commitment and have opportunities to receive (smaller or larger) groups of volunteers.
Starting from 4 people, you are already a group. Depending on the project you want to join, we can place a maximum of 15 - 30 people at a time. We try to plan your participation outside the periods of the international workcamps.
How does it work?
Contact IBO-Nederland. We will make an appointment to discuss your wishes and possibilities.
Once it is clear what you are looking for as a group, IBO will look for a suitable project. Matching your goals, possibilities and wishes and within your budget and fundraising possibilities.
If the match is found, the group will officially register.
IBO-Nederland expects a Certificate of Conduct from every volunteer. In addition, by signing up, each volunteer accepts our terms and conditions and code of conduct.
Participation fee
Your participation fee is based on various costs. This amount differs per project and country and also depends on the number of group members + the number of days you want to work on the project. That is why IBO-Nederland makes a 'tailor-made' cost overview for each group, geared to the specific agreements of your group.
When determining the project contribution, we take into account the costs incurred by the project organisation for:
- Accommodation
- Meals
- Contribution towards costs for materials
- Organisational costs
You organize the trip to the project yourself.
In addition, each volunteer is responsible for:
- good travel insurance that covers voluntary work abroad
- a valid passport or ID card
- if necessary: a valid visa
- if necessary: preventive vaccinations/medicines (ask the GGD for advice).
IBO will advise and contribute ideas for the wishes and possibilities for each group and aim to connect the group to a suitable project.
