After your return

The suitcases are unpacked, you are sleeping in your own familiar bed and you have shared the photos. But it is not over yet. Volunteering often makes a lasting impression. You have been to places you would not usually visit as a tourist, you have worked together with all kinds of people for the same goal, and you have had a taste of other cultures. We hope it was a great experience and would love to hear from you!

Evaluation

Some time after your return you will receive an evaluation form from us by e-mail. We would like to hear what you thought of the project: what went well and what could be improved. It is essential for the organization to receive your evaluations. Depending on your experience, we can choose whether or not to include projects in the following years, or to implement important improvements.

Project ambassador

We think it is important to provide new volunteers with honest information. That is why we are always looking for project ambassadors!

As an ambassador, you tell about your own experience and answer questions from new volunteers, for example at a trade fair or at a preparatory meeting.

Complaints procedure

Did something go wrong during your project and are you not satisfied how it was handled? Then you can submit a complaint to IBO. You can send your complaint by letter or e-mail to: IBO-Nederland, St. Annastraat 174, 6524 GT Nijmegen or info@ibo-nederland.org.

All complaints are submitted to the board of IBO-Nederland for assessment.

 

Promotion material

Do you have pictures, videos, or stories from your project? We would love to receive those, so that we can inspire others with them! IBO can then for example use this footage for the social media or website. We also happily invite you to share your story in a blog on the website.

With registration you permit us the use of images that you send us. If you or someone depicted has any objections, please let us know.
