Since 2023, the 'Gut Fellerson e.V.' association has set up an art workshop in the village as a meeting place. All people are welcome there, regardless of age, social background or nationality. As the community's manor house is not big enough for the association's colorful activities, three rooms that have been made available are now to be renovated and refurbished. Thanks to this opportunity, the art workshop will have the chance to expand its range of activities and hold more events. There is a lot to do: The old plaster has to be removed and the walls prepared for the clay plaster. A few brick walls need to be torn down and the floor needs to be evened out with leveling compound. A compost toilet is also to be built and the clay plaster applied. Last but not least, the water and electricity pipes can be installed, so that the art workshop can get creative again. The association welcomes active help and offers a pleasant stay in a natural environment.

You arrange the travel to your project yourself. IBO asks all volunteers to travel in the most sustainable way possible, so preferably by train or bus. What you at least can do, is compensate your CO2 emissions. You can find more information about this on the website of Milieu Centraal. You can also compensate your emissions via IBO, by donating to our partner’s tree planting project in Uganda. You can read more about that here.
