Build a summer camp at Storkow-See

The organization CVJM Berlin is a youth welfare organization that, among other things, develops educational projects and employment initiatives for young people, with the aim of improving their future prospects. The association stimulates talent development and personal growth.

One of the activities is organizing a (summer) camp for children at the Storkower See. IBO volunteers will help improve the camp site.

Build or refurbish wooden play equipment and outdoor furniture, create tree houses/platforms and lay a barefoot path.

You will sleep in an (already existing) hut on the property: one hut for men and another for women. There are beds, but bring your own bedding!

Ingredients for meals are provided. You and the rest of the volunteer group take care of the preparation yourself.

The camp site is located on the lake, where you can swim and canoe. The area is beautiful for walking. And for a city trip you can go to Berlin or Frankfurt-Oder, on the Polish border.

You will travel to Storkow train station where you will be picked up.

You can also travel directly to the project with your own transport.
